Steps

First, we need to unlock the screen, so I will swipe across and enter my password

Next, we're going to the settings

Tap on the gray gear or fan icon.

In the Settings screen, we need to find General

Tap that to open the general settings.

Scroll down until you see Accessibility and tap that

If you need to change the colors on your phone, this is where you would go

.

You can invert the colors if you tap the switch across from that. This will change your screen to the opposite colors of those you previously had. Mine changed from white and blue to black and orange and purple.

To change the colors back, just return to the Accessibility screen and tap the switch again to turn invert off

I like the white better because it is more convenient, but if you prefer a darker skin, this is what you do.

The next option is Grayscale

Tap that switch to have only black, white and gray colors.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the Accessibility options, you will see Button Shapes

If you look at the top left corner of your screen, you will see the word General with an arrow on the left

If you want to turn that into a button, you would tap the switch across from Button shapes.

Now, as you can see, General now has a button shape

This will be the same on other screens as well. A button will be in that place instead of just a word with an arrow. Let's turn this option off for now by tapping on the Button Shapes switch again.

Tap on Increase Contrast

On this screen, you can tap on the switch across from Reduce Transparency

With this, some of the background colors will be less transparent.

You can also darken the colors by tapping that switch

This will make some of the colors darker.

If you want your phone to not be as bright, or you want to reduce the color intensity, you can tap the switch across from Reduce White Point

This will dim the screen slightly. You can turn any of these options off again by tapping the switches.
